One School One Book

We have been reading 68 Rooms by Marianne Malone.   It is a wonderful book!   We even got to see the author via Skype.   She shared with us how she became an author and even answered our questions about the book!

Informational Writing & book exchange

Team Respect published their informational books this week!   We celebrated by reading our books to other team members!  We learned a lot of new information from eachother!   

We also had our Holiday book exchange with our 4K book buddies.   What a wonderful way to celebrate reading!

Happy (early) Turkey Day!

Second and third graders did an awesome home project.   We decorated a turkey to look like part of our famlly.   Then we wrote an interersting story about our 'family' turkey!    

Today we had fun reading our stories in small groups!
